He pointed out that the village has been threatened with collapse for years, but the state usually works to improve the situation without finding radical and practical solutions to the real problems that contribute to the advancement of the area, which is what happened with the village of "Tamazret", which has a good road within an approved tourist path, but in fact the village It is threatened with collapse and must be restored and maintained so that it does not turn into piles of stones. The state must implement public enlightenment projects and adhere to cleanliness in the village.

For his part, the regional delegate for tourism in Gabes, Adel Sbeita, stated that the architecture of the village of Tamazret has been affected in recent years by natural conditions and the lack of financial resources for restoration and maintenance.
He indicated that civil society parties in Gabes are currently working on the restoration of the village in order to preserve its richness and cultural value.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Tourism intervenes by providing financial grants that are assigned each year to the tourist municipality, and a participatory program can also be prepared for the care and restoration of the village.
 
He stated that the village is receiving constant care from the authorities in the region, where an awareness day was recently organized in partnership with the National Agency for Waste Management on the removal of plastic waste to take care of the aesthetic of the village.
