In the context of reconsidering the Amazigh customs and traditions in Tiznit and contributing to preserving the ancient Amazigh culture and working to advance it as one of the components of Moroccan culture characterized by unity and diversity, the Tiznit community is organizing, in partnership with a group of events in the city, the “Tifloin ⵜⵉⴼⵍⵡⵉⵏ” demonstration to open the doors of the historical and cultural memory of Tiznit, and highlight the different The manifestations of the land and identity celebration of the Amazigh New Year, also in January 2973, due to the cultural, symbolic and anthropological connotations that this occasion carries, rooted and ancient, not only in the history of Morocco, but in the history of North Africa as a whole.
“Tifloin ⵜⵉⴼⵍⵡⵉⵏ”, a cultural event that celebrates the Tiznitian Amazigh community, fueled by a mythological imaginary that emanates from the space of “Al-Ain Aqdim” and extends to “Kasbah Aghnaj” and “Ikn Teflon” and then the entrance to “Targa” and the symbolic, cultural and religious load that these spaces abound in. And social, not in its centralization, but in its cross-fertilization, harmony and dialogue with the various neighboring and attractive cultures, seeking to highlight the cultural features of the city of Tiznit and make it a cultural beacon regionally, nationally and internationally.
“Tefloin ⵜⵉⴼⵍⵡⵉⵏ” is a celebration of land and identity, suitable for the city’s residents and visitors to discover the symbolic connotations of the celebration of “Aad n Ennayer” and to get acquainted with the Berber civilization, which is an integral part of Moroccan culture. A journey deep into the cultural practices, artistic expressions and traditional knowledge associated with the celebration of the Amazigh New Year, embodied in different creative spaces, highlighting the richness and diversity of the cultural heritage of Tiznit and the rituals of celebrating January and January.
