As in previous years, the Amazigh events in the United States of America are preparing to celebrate the Amazigh New Year 2973 with an intensive and varied program that brings together Amazigh events from various countries of North Africa.
The American Amazigh Network Organization (AANO) announced its program to commemorate “Ayad Nanayir”, the new 2973 at the Art Center in Bastoun, on January 14, with the participation of a group of Amazigh troupes, belonging to the Kabylie region in Algeria and the Rif and Souss regions in Morocco.
And the Amazighs of America commemorate the Amazigh New Year by organizing a group of cultural and artistic activities, with the balanced participation of Amazigh events from various American states.

The American Amazigh Network said, “The Amazigh community in the United States and friends will come together to celebrate Amazigh culture and heritage, on January 14th.
She considered this event, which has been held annually since the early 2000s, in Bastoun, as a unique opportunity to learn more about the Amazigh people, their culture and history.
She explained that the celebration, which will be held this year at the Art at Arts Center at Armory, located in Somerville, MA, will include presentations on Amazigh culture and language, folkloric music and dances in addition to tea and traditional sweets served on such an occasion. "This event is not to be missed for anyone interested in learning more about one of the world's oldest cultures," she added.
