1. Porridge eaters (tagla): the food of the poor,

ORKIMEN is an Amazigh food that is prepared specifically in the Amazigh New Year “Ad Inir”, which falls on January 12 of each year. The origin of the name “Orkimen” is from “irkm”, which means bypassing the layering, i.e. layering and moistening the grains used in this dish in water so that they become moist and easy to cook. It is one of the foods rich in calories and even with its somewhat expensive budget. So the women of the town gather and eat one meal that suffices everyone.
3. Couscous with local chicken and eggs.
It is a special food for guests and the large family gathered at the parents and parents. It will be one joy and a generous gathering to celebrate the Amazigh New Year and also to celebrate the family meeting.
