Yesterday evening, Sunday, “Tifloin” (the gates of the city of Tiznit) were closed after four days of celebrating the Amazigh cultural heritage, in celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2973.
“Tifloin”, which launched its activities last Thursday, was able to uncover the attractiveness of the ancient city, and make it a destination for visitors from all over the world.
Over the course of four days, this cultural event turned attention to the historical monuments and the intangible heritage of the city of silver, and presented it in its best manifestations. The visitors to the city discovered what was behind these doors (Tifloin) of an ancient Amazigh cultural heritage, through the narration of traditional rituals and customs in Celebration of “January Metabolism”.

The women of Tiznit spontaneously engaged in the preparation of traditional Amazigh dishes associated with the occasion of the Amazigh New Year, such as the meal porridge - Takla-Aker-Brokoux, Al-Basis, Orchimen, and couscous prepared with barley flour, in line with the long-standing rituals, customs and traditions that are held on this occasion among all Amazighs,  and they are all dishes Vegetarian due to the Amazigh man's great connection to the land, and it is offered to visitors and residents of the city.
Other women, in the “Tifloin” demonstration, devoted themselves to preparing dishes and meals for the custom of “Al-Maarouf”, which embodies the collective awareness prevailing among the residents of the Old City in particular, and the common sense that binds them and expresses the authentic affiliation to the culture of convergence and communication as an expression of the residents’ attachment to their cultural traditions and ancient and ingrained customs. in history .
And in the joyful procession of Tirzeft, which recounts traditional rituals in the celebration, and in their local Amazigh dress, a group of women came to the ancient city of Tiznit and set out from several neighborhoods carrying Orchimen and Tegla dishes towards the space to receive visitors and guests  , to the sound of chants and chants of “Tenkift” In which phrases and chants are chanted, their words are often related to the occasion and give the celebration of “the well-known” a lot of spectacle and fun, passing through a group of alleys and paths inside the old city.

Thus, the "Tifloin" celebration succeeded in shedding light and embodying cultural connotations rooted in the city, through the customs, songs and dances of the people of Aashar and Al-Rama .. in a journey deep into the ancient city.
