The US space agency “NASA” revealed the date of the appearance of a “rare” comet in the sky, for the first time in 50,000 years.
The comet was discovered on March 2, 2022 by astronomers using the wide-field survey cameras of the Palomar Observatory in San Diego, California.
According to NASA, the comet will make its closest approach to the sun on January 12.

And the “Earth Sky” website stated that those wishing to see the comet in the northern hemisphere will have to look, using binoculars and telescopes, at the northeastern horizon shortly before midnight to monitor it on January 12.
And for those who want to watch the comet in the southern hemisphere, they will be able to do so in early February.

The comet can be distinguished from the stars by the green envelope that appears to be emitted from it, which is a gas that is released when it approaches the sun.
