Les Huileries Ouzellaguen: multiple international distinctions
Huileries Ouzellaguen are known for their superior quality olive oil, produced from olives grown in the Djurdjura mountains.
After having acquired nearly 400 hectares of agricultural land partly planted with olive trees, the IBRAHIM family launched an ambitious project to develop this land. They began by leveling, rocking and rooting the plots, before planting thousands of olive trees.
In 2008, Mr. Hadj IBRAHIM Laid created the oil subsidiary SARL Huileries Ouzellaguen, which quickly developed a 400-hectare olive-growing complex, comprising approximately 50,000 olive trees, of which more than 24,000 were planted between 2011 and 2012. This complex is located in the Soummam valley in Kabylia, a region renowned for the quality of its olives and olive oil.
