The Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture is participating in the activities of the 28th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair, organized under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in Rabat, through extensive activities throughout the exhibition.
The institute stated, in a statement, that it will participate in the activities of this cultural event under the slogan “Promoting the Amazigh Book as a Leverage of Cultural Diversity”, with “intensive activities throughout the exhibition’s activities, and a varied program from 01 to 11 June 2023.”

The same source stated that the Dean of the Institute, Ahmed Bokoss, will participate in a symposium on “The Linguistic Situation in Morocco” alongside the linguistic researcher Abdelkader Al Fassi Al-Fihri and the academic Abdelali Al-Wadghari, adding that the Institute will participate, along with the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad, in a round table on the topic “ The Amazigh cultural show directed to the Moroccans of the world.
In addition, the centers affiliated with the institute will organize meetings on a number of topics related to the Amazigh language and culture, such as “activating the official character of the Amazigh language, the challenges of translation from and to the Amazigh language”, “the role of scientific research in the advancement of the Amazigh language”, and “guardianship, reform and cultural production in the fields Amazigh”, and “Contributions of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture to the dissemination of historical and environmental knowledge.”

In parallel with these meetings, new publications will be presented to the centers and the French Amazigh dictionary (expression of Fakik) will be signed by Professor Mohamed Yaaou.
