Midelt region.. The town of “Tagaouine” celebrates the Amazigh culture
The Ahidous Ait Henini Association for Culture and Arts, in partnership with local youth activities in Takajouine, Midelt Province, is organizing the first festival of memory of Ait Henini under the slogan “Valuing immaterial capital as the basis for achieving sustainable development” on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Takajouine Palace.
The festival includes, according to a press release, various paragraphs highlighting the nobility of the Amazigh culture (an intellectual symposium to introduce the history of the region and the contribution of its men to the armed resistance to liberate the homeland, ancient Amazigh games, rural running, awards for outstanding students and students, honoring local personalities, the Museum of Tools and Traditional Industry, artistic paragraphs of Ahidous, Tamdiazt, and music….).
The festival comes on the occasion of the royal recognition of the Amazigh year and its approval as an official holiday.
