Ishraqat Amal Association announces the re-organization of the Miss Amazigh competition “Miss Amazigh 2024” in its seventh session, after an emergency absence due to the Corona crisis “Covid-19”. The competition coincides with the royal recognition of the Amazigh Year as a national holiday, and in celebration of the New Year 2973, which falls on the 13th. January 2024.
To select participants in “Miss Amazigh 2024,” casting is open for the first time to all young women from different countries of the world according to the following standards and conditions:

The competition is based on three stages:
The first stage involves receiving applications from participants by sending their photos without makeup (make-up) to the competition’s mail, accompanied by their CV.

As a concluding stage, a dazzling ceremony will be organized, including several cultural and artistic events, during which the young women who will compete for the title of “Miss Amazigh 2024” will be presented to the audience in attendance, wearing Amazigh dress, in order to vote on their numbers to choose the winner of the competition.
In addition to the competition, “Miss Amazigh 2024” will include intellectual presentations and seminars to shed light on topics related to Amazigh culture and identity, in addition to exhibitions of ancient artifacts.

Regarding the reasons for this competition, it aims to introduce more the Amazigh culture, which contains an important cultural heritage, in its relationship with Amazigh women, and give them the value they deserve and highlight their cultural and cognitive capabilities and qualifications, by inventing a new idea within the framework of the celebrations of the Amazigh New Year 2973, or what is known as “Ad “Inair,” especially after the patronage granted by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, to the Amazigh New Year and its recognition as a national holiday that embodies the high status of the Amazigh language as a tributary of national culture within Moroccan society.
Believing in the pivotal and important role played by civil society associations in taking off development and cultural tourism revitalization, the organizing association (A Sunshine of Hope) chose the city of Agadir to embrace this cultural demonstration with an artistic dimension of Amazigh identity, and in line with the royal aspirations to create an economic, artistic and cultural revolution to ensure a real take-off. The city of Agadir is considered the center of the Kingdom.

In conclusion, it must be remembered that the “Miss Amazigh” competition always seeks to support noble humanitarian work, as the woman crowned with the title “Miss Amazigh 2024” is entrusted to participate in several charitable works that the organizers will sponsor through the “Shine of Hope” association through the “Tiwizi” solidarity convoy. For the benefit of the residents of the affected villages in the mountainous areas that were struck by the devastating earthquake on September 8, and by organizing social campaigns during the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Adha, in addition to campaigns that support schooling and fight illiteracy, especially among rural women in remote areas.
