A statue from Mesopotamia dating back to the ancient Babylonian era, around the period (2000-1600) BC. It is made of bronze and the statue is of a Sumerian god with four faces, which may represent the god of the four winds.
The statue's head is topped with a helmet with bull horns, and the god places one of his feet on a recumbent ram.
The genius of this statue is that you can see his face from all sides, front, back, and on both sides.
The four faces of the statue are truly the most brilliant representation of the four winds
Notice the beauty of the dress worn by the bronze statue!
The statue is in the Oriental Institute Museum, University of Chicago
