The High Prefecture of the Amazigh language launches its annual program to support cultural projects
The High Prefecture of the Amazigh Language announced the launch of its annual program to support collective cultural projects across the national territory, which would contribute to efforts to promote and develop the Amazigh language and culture.
The governorate's statement stated that this program falls within the framework of support allocated to associations active in the field of Amazigh language and culture for the year 2024, and in accordance with the provisions of Law 12-06 of January 12 relating to associations.
It also aims to support various cultural, scientific, intellectual, artistic and other related activities proposed by national, state and local associations.
This process also comes - the statement adds - in order to embody several initiatives and projects aimed at highlighting and preserving the Amazigh dimension, such as “purposeful cultural, scientific and intellectual projects concerned with highlighting the Amazigh dimension, projects related to contributing to the appreciation and preservation of the tangible and intangible Amazigh cultural heritage, and projects from It would highlight various arts related to the Amazigh dimension.”
In addition to “projects related to supporting readability in the Amazigh language with the various linguistic variants circulating across the national territory, projects aimed at supporting and publishing books and creativity in the Amazigh language using technological and digital platforms.”
The governorate invited associations active in the field and wishing to benefit from the support program, to visit its website in order to download the participation form, which also specifies the necessary documents to prepare a complete file to be submitted before July 21, 2024 at the level of the Information and Associations Office on the second floor of the governorate’s headquarters.
