“TAWADA” is the title of the new album by Bakri Gnawa group
With the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, “Culture Sector”, and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Bakri Gnawa Group is preparing to release its new album for the year 2024, for which it chose the title: TAWADA (Walking or Walking).
The new album includes three songs: “Sir, my Lord, Al-Af, By God, Arbi, In the Name of God, I Begin,” all of which are written by the artist Mohamed Bakri, arranged by Rahal Bouadi, and performed by Bakri’s group, which shows its continuity in diving into Asmakan’s music, developing its lyrics, and making them open to music. the world .
All of these songs carry within them noble messages with humanitarian and social themes, including a call to God, reliance on Him in worldly endeavors, and a rejection of all forms of violence and exploitation among humans.
This new work is also considered part of an ongoing effort to promote and disseminate the Gnawi musical heritage, and Asmakan in particular, and is part of the activities organized to promote this ancient culture that has been inherited in the Bakri family for more than a century.
