A huge asteroid is approaching Earth and experts say it is “potentially dangerous” for the planet
NASA has confirmed that an asteroid between 330 and 740 meters in diameter will pass Earth in the coming days at a speed of 52,500 miles per hour in what experts say is "potentially dangerous" for the planet.
The massive asteroid, also known as RM4, is expected to pass Earth on November 1.
NASA released the measurements through the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies.

Any object within a radius of 120 million miles from Earth is listed as a "Near-Earth Object", and that asteroid is set to join that list.
The asteroid will blast away from Earth and continue its path 105 million miles away, although NASA classifies this as a "potential hazard".
