Square Port-Saïd / Bank of Algeria: here is the price of 1000 euros
The exchange rates of the euro and the dollar, against the Algerian dinar, recorded downward variations in the black currency market (square Port-Saïd of Algiers). On the other hand, in the official quotations of the Bank of Algeria, their prices stabilized on Tuesday, September 20.
The single European currency shows, compared to yesterday, a slight drop in the main parallel currency markets in Algiers. In Port-Saïd Square, one euro fell to 218 Algerian dinars for purchase and 219.5 dinars for sale. This means that the sum of €1,000 is exchanged for 218,000 DZD for purchase and 219,500 DZD for sale.
At the level of the Bank of Algeria, the European currency stabilized on Tuesday at 145.92 Algerian dinars for purchase and 145.99 dinars for sale. As a result, 1000 euros convert against 145,920 DA and sell for 145,920 DA.
Exchange rate of the US dollar against the Algerian dinar
The US currency is also showing a bearish trend in the square. A dollar now costs 208 dinars to buy and 210 dinars to sell. Thus, the sum of 1000 dollars is worth, in this respective exchange, 208,000 DZD and 210,000 DZD.
On the other hand, at bank counters, the dollar is fixed at 137.28 Algerian dinars on the purchase price and 137.29 Algerian dinars on the sale price.
Quotations of the Canadian dollar and the pound sterling against the Algerian dinar
Canada's currency has been stabilizing for a few days in the parallel market. The value of 1 CAD remains at 150 dinars for purchase and 153 dinars for sale. In the official circuit, 1 Canadian dollar is worth, in this respective exchange, 100.47 DZD and 100.51 DZD.
The currency of the United Kingdom is also stagnating in the two circuits. In the square, a pound is bought for 245 dinars and sold for 250 dinars. At the level of the official market, one pound is exchanged against 167.17 DA for purchase and 167.23 DA for sale, according to the quotations of the Bank of Algeria valid from December 19 to 21.
