A Amazigh woman from Douar Keddort in Tafraout holds the position of permanent representative of the Great Maghreb Union
The Amazigh woman, who belongs to Douar Keddort in Tafraout, and who previously held the position of Consul in Italy, Mrs. Amina Salman, was appointed as Permanent Representative of the Greater Maghreb Union to the African Union, where she presented her credentials to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mr. Moussa Faki Mohamed, who received her on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
The appointment of Ms. Salman, who currently holds the position of Director of Economic Affairs of the Greater Maghreb Union, falls within the context of strengthening the role of the eight African regional economic groupings, which play a pivotal role in achieving the African Union’s Agenda 2063, especially at the level of economic development and integration, according to what was issued by the General Secretariat of the Union.
