“Rala Yama” .. the new Amazigh artist, Ibrahim Ait Ahmed (Afolay), on the mother’s behalf
With his constant association with the rural artistic heritage and coinciding with Eid al-Fitr, the committed rural Amazigh artist Ibrahim Ait Ahmed, technically known as (Afolay), released yesterday, Saturday, April 22, 2023 his new song (Rala Yama), which can be listened to on his YouTube channel.
The lyrics of the song belong to Yamena El-Khamari, the daughter of Nador, Ait Touzine in particular, who filled the countryside with her pioneering songs during the sixties, and is a total expression of the manifestations of sadness and grief due to the loss of her mother.
It is worth noting that the Amazigh artist Afolai, son of the city of Imzorn, had previously released a group of songs such as (Tarbiht n Abujiren), meaning (orphans), (Adrar), meaning (the mountain), and (Rala Tamourth Aino), meaning (my homeland), before he decided to split His path to success, with his new work (Rala Yama) composed and sung by him.
