A fish smiled at the camera.. A video documenting a strange scene in the depths of the ocean
A snail fish has been spotted 1.7 miles deep in the ocean on remote Pacific islands smiling at the camera, as part of an expedition to explore the ocean and the Pacific Outback Islands National Marine Monument.
This snailfish is part of the Lebarida family, a species familiar across the global ocean, and was found during an expedition exploring unknown regions of the ocean.
