Bellmoon International Carnival of Agadir
The “Bellmaun International Carnival of Agadir” will be organized in its first session at the initiative of the Council of the Community of Agadir and the organization of the Souss-Massa Center for Cultural Development, according to a communiqué issued by the organizing committee.
The organization of the international carnival is a download of the Community Action Program 2022-2027, with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the Council of the Souss-Massa region. This first session will be known, as revealed in the organizing committee’s communication, with the participation of Moroccan folklore teams, along with teams of Belmaun characters with their masks and disguises, representing the associations of Agadir Al-Kabir, as well as creative models, which translates everyone’s involvement in interesting paintings, interspersed with a competition for carnival groups to win prizes for the best performances.
Those in charge of local affairs in the city and the region are keen to preserve and strengthen the Amazigh cultural heritage of our country as a common identity for all Moroccans. The organizers also seek to make this date annual to encourage scientific and academic research in this field.
