Adrar n Fad hosts the 2nd edition of the Tiregwa Awards and Scholarships Ceremony
Tasbeddit Tiregwa
After the success of the first edition in Zouvga village, in Illiten (Tizi Wezzu), the Canadian Foundation for Tamazight "Tiregwa" organized the second edition of prizes and scholarships in the At Sma3el village in Adrar n Fad (Bgayet).
For the prices, several discounts have been organized. This is the prize for the "News Competition", in Tamazight in tribute to Belaid At Ali. The winners of this 2nd edition were: Mheni Khalifi from At Sma3il who won the first prize for an amount of 80,000 DA, Houd Malek from Tazmalt had the second prize for an amount of 50,000 DA. Nassima Khoukhi from Adekar village won the third prize of 30,000 DA.
Regarding the prize for the first edition of the "best novel" in tribute to Rachid Alliche, it was granted to Amar Mezdad for his penultimate work entitled "Tetilli-d, ur d-tkeccem", for a sum of 100,000 DA, and 30,000 DA for the purchase of the book in question. It should be noted that this famous and brilliant writer of Kabyle literature has just released his latest work entitled "Yiwen wass di tefsut".
Regarding scholarships, it should be noted that the Tiregwa Foundation awards three university scholarships every two years. These are the “Masin Harun” scholarship for the University of Bgayet, the “Muhand Said Amelikech” scholarship for the University of Tubiret (Bouira) and the “Mohand Arab Bessaoud scholarship” for the University of Tizi Wezzu. The three scholarships are based on research excellence in the Amazigh field.
At At Sma3il, student Nassim Ighit from the University of Bgayet received his second tranche of scholarship, which will allow him to complete his research in very good conditions knowing that the two other scholarship holders from Tizi Wezzu (Samira Lwahab) and Tubiret (Wahid Lemri) have already completed their master's degree in Tamazight after receiving their first tranches at the 2014 awards and scholarships ceremony in Zouvga village, precisely on August 14, 2014.
It should be noted that this 2015 Tiregwa prize and scholarship ceremony took place on July 31, 2015, the day after another competition on pottery organized by the dynamic cultural association of Adrar n Fad (ACAF) , partner with the Tiregwa foundation in the triple activity, which is:
– ACAF pottery competition (July 30, 2015),
– Tiregwa awards and scholarships (July 31, 2015)
– Training on personal development and brief therapy approaches such as neurolinguistic programming and transactional analysis given by Dr. Hacene Hireche, (August 1, 2015).
During the three days that these activities lasted, exhibitions of Amazigh books and objects (from various Kabyle and Chawi associations), several conferences, tributes, theatrical presentation and a round table were organized, the themes of which are related to the Amazigh language, history, identity, culture and production.
Thus a formidable theatrical play Chawi was played by the troupe “Asirem n Wawres” of “Coordination de la Société Auresienne” and entitled IBERDAN N TMEDDURT (The paths of life). It relates a sad episode in the history of the Imazighens, on Aksel and Dihya (Kahina) and their struggle against the Arab invader.
After the play, which was strongly applauded, a vibrant tribute was paid to the filmmaker and TV host Ahmed Djanadi, Khali Ahmed for his friends, for all of his television and film productions in our dear language. It is worth mentioning, among others, the first TV series in Tamazight A3ziz aken yebghu yili, the famous weekly program Tamurt-iw from Berbère TV (which has been going on since almost the birth of this channel), and several other films and television series, without talk about competitions, and other games for children in Tamazight, satirical programs (hidden camera), dubbing in Taqbaylit of several series and TV reports, ….
Another tribute was paid to Hanane Djenadi, the daughter of Khali Ahmed, who defied, let us remember, the chronicle on a certain day in April 2013, by coming to her high school in El Kseur, with her Kabyle dress. This prompted all the other high school girls to do the same the next day following the dismissal by the principal of the Lycée de Hanane, suggesting that she change her Kabyle outfit with another regardless of its nature, even if it were exogenous to our ancestral traditions.
After such tributes, the award ceremony and scholarships for the winners aroused, began but interspersed with very beautiful poems recited by many and talented winners of the various past editions of the famous poetry festival of Adrar n Fad.
After the speech of Nna Ouiza, the sister of Rachid Aliche, who testified about her brother and the love he had for our language, exchanges of recognition with certificates followed between ACAF and Tiregwa. The latter also presented certificates of recognition, in addition to ACAF, to the Tizizwit association of Taguemount Lejdid, to the troupe "Asirem n Wawres" and the "Coordination of the Auresian Society", guests of Tiregwa.
It should be noted that the Belaid At Ali association from Azru Uqellal village could not come due to a last minute setback. Knowing that Tiregwa moved a few days earlier to the village of Belaid At Ali to invite the said association. Photos and videos were taken in the own house of Belaid At Ali, who as a reminder carries one of the Tiregwa awards.
An artistic gala was organized on the evening of July 31 at the At Sama3il youth center featuring singer Ali Amrane. The evening was also entertained by the beloved singer Yacine Zouaoui, the Imanza group, the Izenzaren group, the association's folk troupe, and several singing troupes from the Aurès.
It should be noted that the Tiregwa foundation took charge of most of the logistics related to the ceremony: Meals, sound system, transport of the artists, ... and would like to thank the "ACAF" association for its precious help ( both financial and logistical) and for its interest in our language (Example: Badge and certificates exclusively written in Tamazight). Its dynamic president Fares Bekouche is to be thanked for his very sharp organizational sense, but also the excellent animator Nacer Akouche, as well as all the citizens of At Sma3il and especially the staff of the town hall At Sma3il, and in particular its vice-president Sadek Rebai, who gave themselves body and soul for the success of such an event, rich in multidisciplinary activities.
Tiregwa is very proud of the staff of this town hall which devotes, each year, a substantial budget for the promotion of Tamazight through several striking facts that she has noticed: publication of magazines and books in Tamazight, pediments written in Tamazight, speeches in Tamazight , …, in short, one of the few town halls in Kabylia, if not the only one, to associate Tamazight with the economic development of the Adrar n Fad region, known moreover for the richness of its vocabulary (which impressed several guests coming from afar).
Finally, the foundation would like to thank all those, among university professors, researchers, writers, singers, filmmakers, playwrights, etc. who have come from afar to make the Tiregwa 2015 awards and scholarships ceremony an activity unforgettable.
