The artist Abdel Latif Atif received a special honor during the activities of the first edition of the Tamgait Festival, organized by the Anmid Association for Culture, Development and Sports, in the village commune center of Ibdar, Sidi Ifni province, Guelmim-Oued Noun, on August 24, 25 and 26, 2023. The artist Abd al-Latif Abd al-Latif Atif, who was honored, during the closing evening of the events of the Tamakit Festival, is considered one of the first generation of Moroccan actors who speak the Amazigh language, who formed the road map of Amazigh art in Morocco, whether on stage, or through VHS films and Visidi, as well as channels National and international television, Atif is also considered a familiar face on the Amazigh screen and public channels for years, and he managed to enter the homes and hearts of millions of followers of cinema and art inside and outside Morocco, and brought joy and joy.
In January 1961, the artist Atif Al-Mazdad went up in the city of Inezgane, for the first time to the stage in 1978, in a theatrical work entitled “Let Us Get Rid of”, followed by the play “A Case of Representation” in 1978 for the Cultural Torch Association, and in 1985 he joined the “Tifaouine” association, which he joined in its theatrical group. In the field of cinema and television, he participated in dozens, if not hundreds, of works of art, between video films that were launched in the early nineties, plays, television series, and cinematic films, such as the movie “Tazit n Wanga” by Ahmed Baduj in 1994, and the two films “Hamo Anamir”. And “Al-Dweba” by Fatima Bobajdi in 2002 and 2003, and the movie “Zaraifa” by Abdelaziz Asayeh in 2010, and the movie “Agrabo” by Ahmed Baido in 2011.
