Rachid Rakha accuses “Lunas Belkacem” of displacing Amazighs to Europe

Rachid Rakha, President of the Federal Council of the Amazigh World Congress of the Tizi Ouzou format, responded in a telephone call conducted with him by our colleague Tariq Al-Shami from Nador Seti, against the background of the article published in Al-Massaa newspaper in issue 894 of last Wednesday, entitled “Belkacem Lounes decides to sue... Rachid Rakha,” in which it was stated that the Federal Council of the Amazigh World Congress of the Meknes format decided to file a lawsuit against Rachid Rakha on the grounds that he “appointed himself as a parallel president of the World Congress during the work of the parallel conference that took place last year.”
During his statement, Rachid Rakha clung to his legitimacy as Speaker of Congress, considering that the lawsuit lacks any legal basis, adding that his lawyer in France has continued to work on the file since November of last year, waiting for him to receive all the information about the file from the French police services.
Rachid Rakha confirmed that the French judiciary is capable of uncovering a group of violations and embezzlement in which Belkacem Lounes, President of the Congress of Meknes, is considered to be involved.
Rakha was accused of questioning Belkacem’s exploitation of the organization for the purposes of clandestine immigration, citing his setting a list of more than 50 people to attend a meeting against racial discrimination organized last month in Geneva, while Rakha adds that a group of non-governmental organizations was content with sending two people at most to attend the same meeting, and he confirmed that Research is ongoing on the same topic.
Rachid Rakha considered that the Congress’s finances were also witnessing a number of embezzlements, due to the ignorance of the associations and those interested in any information about the financial reports of the organization, whose finances he called for to be audited.
Rakha concluded his statement by accusing Kacem Lounes of transferring a sum of 30,000 euros to the Meknes Conference, after the Catalan government had provided it as funding for the Tizi Ouzou Conference, considering that the organization was created to defend the Amazighs and their just causes, not to exploit it for personal and illegal purposes.
