Resonance of the Royal Vision on Amazighity:
Echoing the royal speech affirming the central place of Amazigh culture in Moroccan identity, We Speak Citizen, in collaboration with ATTARIK Foundation, are celebrating “Yd'Ennayer 2974”.
The royal speech, which recognizes Amazighness as an essential component of the Moroccan cultural fabric, inspires and guides the spirit of this event, marking an important step in the celebration and integration of this rich and diverse culture into the national panorama.
This cultural event, highlighting the splendors of Amazighness, is fully part of the context of the recognition and promotion of Amazigh culture by Morocco. This initiative resonates with the adoption of the Amazigh language as the official language of the country, and the declaration of Yd'Ennayer as a public holiday by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, thus underlining the crucial importance of this culture in the fabric of Moroccan identity.
The event thus illustrates the organizers' ambition to enrich intercultural dialogue and celebrate the cultural plurality that characterizes Morocco, in a spirit of sharing and openness.
Promoting Intercultural Dialogue:
The celebration of Yd'Ennayer 2974 transcends the simple recognition of Amazigh culture to become a catalyst for intercultural dialogue. We Speak Citizen and the ATTARIK Foundation have designed an activity-rich program that promotes exchange and understanding between different cultural communities.
Through exhibitions, workshops and conferences, the event encourages the discovery and appreciation of the various facets of Moroccan heritage, thus opening spaces for conversation and mutual education.
This approach reinforces the message of unity in diversity, essential to the construction of an inclusive and dynamic Moroccan society.
Cultural Diversity on the Program:
The two-day festivities will offer visitors:
An exhibition of photographs by Abdellah Azizi and Ken Wong Youk Hong, paying tribute to the
richness of Amazigh culture.
