There are still many mysterious, undiscovered places on planet Earth, and there are many cities that have disappeared and sunk to the bottom of the seas and oceans with the natural disasters that the planet has witnessed.
The most important of these cities are:
1- Port Royal, Jamaica
This city was founded in 1518, and was a center for trade in the Caribbean Sea. After a 7.5 Richter earthquake struck this area in 1692, followed by a massive tsunami, this city was destroyed and completely sank into the ocean.
More than 2,000 people were killed in these events, and it was believed that all of this happened because of the sins and mysterious things that were being committed in this region.

Experts from around the world cannot agree on whether the Yonaguni Pyramid, located underwater off the coast of Japan, was man-made or formed naturally.
Usually in nature there are no pyramidal shapes cut into squares and triangles with such precision, but some experts still confirm that these pyramids are the work of nature. If the pyramid was man-made, some experts indicate that it may have been built during the last ice age, that is, about 10 thousand years BC.

3- Dwarka, Gulf of Cambay, India
The discovery of this sunken city in 2000 brought to the minds of local residents an ancient Indian tale about the city of the god Krishna.
The ancient tale says that Lord Krishna had a beautifully decorated city, made up of 70,000 palaces, all made of gold, silver and other precious metals. The city remained prosperous until Krishna's death, at which point the city ended and everything in it exploded.
These ruins are located 40 meters below the surface of the ocean in the bay of the city of Dwarka, which is one of the seven oldest cities in India.

This amazing city is intricately designed, lying at the bottom of Lake Quiandao in China.
The architecture details and sculptures amaze the eyes of the viewers, and the way this city was built is another mystery in itself.
The city was originally built during the Eastern Han Dynasty from 25 to 200 AD. The entire city covers an area of about 62 football fields and is located 25 to 40 meters below the surface of the water.
The lake is also known as the Lake of a Thousand Islands, and a dam was built on it in the 1950s.
5- Cleopatra Palace, Alexandria, Egypt
What is believed to be Cleopatra's palace lies off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt.
It is said that this palace sank into the sea due to an earthquake that occurred more than 1,500 years ago, until it was discovered and examined recently.
