She is the one for whom the sun shines
She is the one for whom the sun shines 1--1460
Ramesses II called his wife Nefertari “she for whom the sun shines.”
Ramesses II dedicated the small temple at Abu Simbel to his wife, Nefertari. The text written on one of the temple's columns reads as follows: "A temple of great and mighty relics, for the great royal wife Nefertari Meremot, for whom the sun shines."
As for the most important titles of Nefertari engraved on the walls of her temple, her husband called her the most beautiful titles, as she is the goddess of charm and beauty, beautiful in nature, the lady of the North and South, the beloved, and the favorite wife.
One of the most famous expressions of love that Ramesses mentioned to his beloved wife, Nefertari, is “She is the one for whom the sun shines.”
There is also the famous phrase, which proves that King Ramesses II dedicated the temple to his wife, which is: “Because I loved my wives, I built this temple.”
