?How can granite obelisks be moved
Granite obelisks weighing more than 250 tons each, meaning 250,000 kg. Imagine... the obelisks were cut from a mountain in southern Aswan... then our ancestors transported them in one piece about 4000 years ago with great ease to erect them in Luxor (Thebes) or in Ain Shams (Cairo) or in... Dead hostage (Memphis)... or even in Alexandria like the Cleopatra Obelisk (in London now)...
I am not talking about the miracle of cutting a single block of solid granite from the mountain that weighs 250 tons and is 25 meters long, and then they lift it from the place where it was cut without it breaking, splitting, or shattering, and then they lower it from the mountain and engrave words, texts, and pictures on its surface on the solid granite. Just with a chisel... and I'm not talking about the fabulous precision of the pieces, nor the miraculous precision of the corners as if they were with the latest laser technology now... but all of this happened... and they transport them intact and in one block without any crack, scratch or break, despite cutting hundreds. Kilometers of mountains, highlands, plateaus, sandy lands, clay lands, soft lands, swamps, canals, and the Nile River... from Aswan to Alexandria, more than 1,200 kilometers, as if they completely lost their weight... and how is that possible?... a few words of miracles for them.
