Amazigh knight "Numidi"
Amazigh knight "Numidi" 1---1080
Neither Roman nor Carthaginian nor Yemeni nor French
The knight receives the arrow of death in his back, and the crown of glory adorns the edge of his hair. He also embraces the neck of his Amazigh horse, clinging to affection and familiarity, and his horse is standing on two legs, as if he feels the horror of the incident, trying to restore the strength that has lost from his knight and wake him from the slumber of death. Then he straightens his back and opens his eyes to see the glory of victory written. With gold in the papers of history and to touch his enemies’ fascination with him and his grandchildren until the Day of Judgment.
On the second of August 216 BC, the Second Punic War took place near the Italian city of Canossa between Hannibal's army and the army of Rome, which was badly defeated.
This small statue was found in a grave in the city of Canossa in southern Italy, near the famous Cannes battlefield.
Regardless of who created this masterpiece and this magnificence, it is an acknowledgment of the Amazigh man since the dawn of history and in the land of adversaries, and of his qualities of courage, pride, nobility, and chivalry. It is a testimony dear to us from our respected enemies about a glimpse into our history that many demented people of lies and charlatanism are trying to desecrate.
The small statue is in the Louvre Museum in Paris
