King Khafre, who had strong Egyptian royal features.
His common name is Khafre, but his actual name in the royal cartouche is “Khafre.” He is considered the fourth king of the Fourth Dynasty in the Old Kingdom.
He ruled between 2559 and 2535 BC. We can say about him that he was a powerful king.
He was able to regain the throne from his brother, "Djed-Ra", who seized the throne upon the death of his father, King Khufu, under the pretext that Khafre was not from the same royal mother.
Therefore, Khafre was able to get rid of his brother after ruling Egypt for no more than a few months.
He also built his own pyramid, which is the famous Pyramid of Khafre, the second of the pyramids of Giza and the tallest of them, but not the tallest, because it was built on a high hill.
He is also credited with the sculpture of the Sphinx, which has a very strong resemblance between the statue and its owner 🇪🇬
