Mohamed Farsi translates Stefan Zweig's novel “une lettre d'une inconnue” into the Amazigh language
A new literary translation of Stefan Zweig’s novel “une lettre d’une inconnue”, entitled in Amazigh “ⵜⴰⴱⵔⴰⵜ ⵣⴳ ⵢⵉⵊⵊⵜ ⵏ ⵜⵎⵖⴰⵔⵜ” was published by the translator Mohamed Farsi, and was published in 2024 Dar Al-Qalam for Publishing and Distribution. This translation is considered an important development in the Amazigh translation movement, as the translator Mohamed Farsi has previously translated several literary texts from various literary genres, such as theatre, poetry, and stories. He received the National Award for Translation in 2018, awarded by the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture for his translation of the novel “The Biography of a Donkey.” “By the Moroccan novelist Hassan Ourid.
