Rabat: The first national forum for doctoral students in Amazigh studies
On May 15 and 16, the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture organized a national forum for doctoral students in Amazigh studies. This is for the benefit of research students pursuing their doctoral training at various university institutions and national higher institutes in the fields related to Amazigh literature, language, education, culture, didactics...
The opening of this forum was supervised by Mr. Ahmed Boukous, Dean of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture, who congratulated all the research students for choosing to research in the research fields related to the Amazigh language and culture in order to contribute to the development of the latter, stressing the openness and involvement of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture Foundation in all the initiatives that You want to improve the Amazigh language.
The participants in this forum were divided into four workshops: the linguistic studies workshop, the studies workshop in didactics and educational curricula, the studies workshop in anthropology and sociology, and the studies workshop in literature and arts.
The forum's program included a lecture on the ethics of scientific research, delivered by Professor Mohamed Adiwan, and a group of academic, disciplinary and methodological activities framed by the directors of the research centers at the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture and the research professors in the same centers, as well as supervising professors from outside the institute.
The objectives of the forum were set as follows: Contributing to enhancing the research and methodological capabilities and competencies of students researching Amazigh studies, providing methodological support to doctoral students and placing the expertise of researchers and specialists at their disposal in this field, contributing to efforts aimed at improving university research in the field of Amazigh studies, strengthening bridges of communication. Between research students in doctoral centers and the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture as a reference institution in this field.
