How long to keep merguez in the refrigerator?
Merguez should be stored in the coldest compartment of the refrigerator. If they are fresh, do not exceed 3 days. If they are cooked, place them in the refrigerator within 2 hours of cooking, in an airtight container to avoid cross-contamination with any raw meat that may be placed nearby.
Preserved in this way, cooked merguez can be consumed within 4 days after cooking.
It is recommended to consume frozen merguez within 2 to 3 months after freezing.
