The smallest inhabited island in the world
The smallest inhabited island in the world 1-783
It is the smallest inhabited island in the world, known as Just Enough Room Island. It is so small that there is only room for a planter, a tree and a few chairs.
It was purchased in the 1950s by the Sizzland family, who were looking for a quiet retreat. However, to be considered an island in this area, certain conditions must be met, including the land mass being larger than one square foot, remaining above water level 365 days a year, and having at least one living tree. Since their small plot of land only met the first two requirements, the Sizelands, after purchasing it, planted their own tree.

In 1982, Just Enough Room Island was named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the “smallest inhabited island in the world.”
