Intangible culture constitutes the essence of human life and contributes to the consolidation of noble values and the promotion of peace and the advancement of social behavior and creativity. The need for immaterial and symbolic heritage is a necessary need for all groups of society, so the activities of introducing it and transmitting it across generations must be open to all social strata. in the public space; The immaterial culture contributes to achieving the integrated and balanced growth of their personality, and therefore it is considered a vital practice for the advancement of individuals and society alike, and the consolidation of the social and cultural progress of mankind forward.
Literary cafés are one of the spaces that can play the role of introducing Amazigh cultural practices and enhancing the position of immaterial culture in the cultural meeting and knowledge circulation, by describing the café as a public space that can embrace the cultural act related to the definition of the manifestations of Amazigh culture and awareness of its importance and embrace the dynamics that aim to achieve This endeavour, literary cafés can be a lever for cultural development in Morocco.
Based on these introductions and based on studies and research related to the status and status of immaterial cultural manifestations, ways to sustain their existence and cultural dynamics in the Souss-Massa region, the project “Research Café: Dynamics of Cultural Expressions and Symbolic Amazigh Practices” aims to enhance the presence of culture in the public space and the public sphere through A cultural program that seeks to revitalize literary cafés in the Souss-Massa region and to establish various cultural and scientific activities that restore the intangible Amazigh heritage and its appropriate legal status in society, and meet specific cultural needs in light of the fact that culture is a basic need for all segments of society, by setting up mobile book fairs and holding lengthy sessions Dedicated to the scientific study and academic discussion of aspects of the intangible heritage in open meetings with the public.
This project also aims to explore aspects of these manifestations and practices by starting from contemporary reading sites and accurate theoretical approaches by investing the approaches of the humanities and discussing them in the public domain under the supervision of experts, academic researchers and cultural actors in the cultural issue, who either studied them academically or took them as a springboard for creativity in order to update and integrate them in Expressive and contemporary artistic contexts, in cinema, theater, visual arts, literary writing, sculpture and video.
In line with these premises, the project “The Research Café: the dynamism of cultural expressions and Amazigh symbolic practices”, which derives its name from its bets on the dynamism open to the future, as a project that includes a diverse cultural program in terms of its mechanisms, media and axes, to contribute to a regional dynamism aimed at introducing cultural manifestations Amazigh immaterialism in its various dimensions and meeting the cultural needs of society to encourage creativity.
