Car manufacturing in Algeria: two new global brands to be announced soon

Indeed, the car manufacturing sector in Algeria is booming and two major global brands should soon be set up. In any case, this was announced by Omar Rekkache, director general of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency. The official stressed that the two groups are in the final preparations for their establishment on Algerian soil.
In detail, Rekkache spoke on a television set of the Ennahar TV channel. He explained that the registration of investments for car manufacturers is the last step to take. Because they have already conducted the necessary negotiations with the high authorities of the country.
Thus, after reaching an agreement with the public authorities, in particular with the Ministry of Industry and having completed all the necessary procedures, the investors then approach the agency to register their project. And subsequently enter the phase of its effective concretization.
Algeria: upcoming installation of two foreign car manufacturers
It is in this context that the official welcomed the fact that two major global car manufacturers have recently approached the Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Investments. Rekkache pointed out that these manufacturers have already obtained the agreement of the authorities.
The Ennahar Tv journalist wanted to know the names of these two car manufacturers. However, the director of the Algerian Agency for the promotion of investment did not wish to disclose them. He explained that he left this to the Minister of Industry , who will do so when the time comes. This approach is in any case good news for the sector, but also for the national economy as a whole.
