Oriented towards urban use, Algeria opts for the production of an electric city car. Indeed, the Enveco company has just lifted the veil on its first model of electric car. It was through the “All Options” program broadcast on the Ennahar TV channel that the company in question unveiled this new four-wheeled machine.
By the way, it is a 100% electric car from the Gaia brand, which is a Chinese manufacturer specializing in the manufacture of electric vehicles. Knowing that this city car has an electric generator that works with gasoline or gas. This makes it possible to produce electrical energy to supply the battery.
Note also that there are two different ways to recharge this electric car from the Enveco establishment. The first method consists of home charging where a 220 V household socket is sufficient to power this vehicle using an appropriate cable. Either lasting between 6 and 8 hours.
That's not all ! This automobile also recharges using the generator, which can, in turn, provide energy to the battery. Thus, when the driver is on the road, he can recharge his vehicle as normally as possible. Note that this is enough to cover a 150 km journey when the autonomy of the car is estimated at 200 km.
Algeria: an electric car at a lower cost
Since electric cars cost more than regular ones, this company designed this first model of electric car to make the price of it affordable. Knowing that lithium batteries are expensive, they thought of putting fewer batteries (5 instead of 10) and adding the generator, which allows the vehicle to be recharged.
As for the features of this vehicle , the presenter of the aforementioned show indicated that it is a car that has a touch screen, an automatic gearbox and a nice interior design of young people. It is also worth noting that this city car has a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
