Celebrating the Amazigh New Year highlights the gains achieved by the Amazigh people in recent decades
For years I have been following as much as possible the struggle of the Amazigh people in general, and in Morocco in particular, as a result of my personal relationship with an Amazigh friend from this country, who tells me a lot about the Amazighs. It has become clear to me that I need more follow-up and knowledge about the gains achieved by the Amazigh people and all Moroccan components in terms of constitutional recognition of the Amazigh people, teaching their language and integrating it into administration and media.
What attracted me and pleased me was the wide interest in the Amazigh New Year, not only on the part of the Amazigh people in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya, but also on the part of the Arab press and Arabic-speaking platforms, such as Asharq Al-Awsat, Al-Hurra, The Independent, BBC and others.
This is an invitation to everyone to follow the Amazigh file, to see the suffering and struggle of the ancient Amazigh people, and to know the gains they have achieved, as this gives additional strength to all fighters everywhere. This occasion is an invitation to Arab and Arabic-speaking governments and media to pay more attention to major issues, such as the issue of the Amazigh people and all peoples who still suffer from lack of recognition, denial, and policies of exclusion and rejection.

The constitutional recognition of the Kurdish people and the guarantee of their cultural and linguistic rights will be the beginning of resolving the Kurdish issue and consolidating coexistence and pluralism.
It is an invitation to the intellectuals of North Africa and the Middle East, who are identified with the exclusionary policies of the Arab countries towards the Kurds, in order to learn about the experience of the Kingdom of Morocco, which has made important strides in responding to the demands of the Amazigh people, who despite all this is still working to achieve more gains..
The publication was accompanied by a paragraph from the preamble to the Moroccan constitution.
Happy new year to the Amazigh people on their land and abroad.
