The Inezgane group, in partnership with the Motherhood Association and the Nour El Khair Association for Culture and Heritage in Inezgane, is organizing, from January 10 to 15, 2023, the first session of the festival celebrating the Amazigh New Year 2973 “Eid Anayer” under the slogan “Memory and Heritage for Generational Dialogue.”

This session will witness the participation of traditional groups and groups in the field of music, poetry, praise and hearing, traditional costumes representing a number of regions of the Souss-Massa region and Morocco in general at the national level.

Researchers, intellectuals, and the general public will meet with the activities of the intellectual symposium to celebrate the Amazigh year 2973 on the topic “Anayir, memory and heritage for the dialogue of generations.” Professors and researchers with specialization will participate in it, in addition to presenting the testimonies of people who tell the traditions and stories of celebrating the Amazigh year.
The first session of the celebration of the Amazigh year “Aid Anayer” in Inezgane includes honoring two distinguished people in the field of managing local affairs, heritage and Amazigh art from the people of the city.
The activities of this festival will also be known as the organization of a major artistic evening for the city's residents on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in the front yard of the commune's headquarters in Inezgane, as well as the organization of a parallel exhibition throughout the days of the celebration that includes the most prominent traditional local products.
