Amazigh events in Nador commemorate the Amazigh New Year 2973, under the slogan “January: An Opportunity to Renew and Perpetuate the Bonds of Adherence and Commitment to the Elements of the Ancient Amazigh Identity,” on Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Qadi Kaddour Square, Corniche of Nador.
The memorialization program, which was developed by the “Amazigh World”, includes an exhibition of rural Amazigh publications, and a brief speech on “January” and its connotations and historical, cultural and identity dimensions that this memorialization carries.

During this ceremony, the spirit of Professor Hassan Benakia will be honored, along with Professor Yahya Qamar, the owner of the “Qamar Library” initiative in Nador.
