Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival is back again
The 28th edition of the Tetouan Festival of Mediterranean Cinema will be held from 03 to 10 March 2023.
A communication to the organizers stated that this session comes “after the great success” witnessed by the twenty-seventh session, with the audience returning to cinemas, safe from the threat of the pandemic.
The same source added that the festival, as is its custom every year, continues its main activities, with victory for the principle of renewal, through innovative approaches aimed at promoting the seventh art.
In this regard, the Festival Foundation called on its audience, especially the youth, to attend exhibition halls, discussion sessions, round tables, and workshops, in order to build and promote the values of modernity and citizenship, those values that will lead our country on the path of prosperity and make it stronger thanks to the gains it has accumulated that reflect its ancient history. .
According to the report, this year's session will witness two new activities, the first of which is the workshops dedicated to directors and screenwriters who are passionate about the seventh art, which will be crowned with prizes and rewards. As for the second activity, it is represented in organizing professional residencies to help young Mediterranean creators complete their projects, launch themselves in the world of cinema and practice it as a profession.
The communication concluded that, within the same approach, a new event will be organized, “Tetuan Film Industry Days”, which will include Mediterranean distributors, producers and project owners.
