Guelmim Province: The sixth session of the International Festival “Shadows of Argan” from 18 to 21 October 1-140
From October 18 to 21, the Guelmim region will host the activities of the “Shadows of Argan” International Festival in its sixth edition, under the slogan “Traditional knowledge and skills of the local population...human heritage and potential for sustainable development.”

The Zilal Arkan Association for Development and Human Solidarity, the organizing body of the festival, stated that the organization of this event, which is divided into several areas in the communities of Boizkarn, Ait Bouflen, and Guelmim, aims to introduce the history of the region and its diverse and rich culture, as well as to consolidate the direction of the festival, which is considered the cultural and environmental heritage with which it abounds. The region, especially the argan tree, is an important gateway to achieving development.

This year's session includes the organization of an exhibition for regional agricultural products, another for traditional industrial products, and an international symposium entitled “Investment and the Bet on Sustainable Development in the Countries of the South,” as well as a study day on “Valuing traditional knowledge associated with the argan tree...experiences and acquisitions,” in addition to the signing of literary works. Open meetings with national and international figures from the world of thought, politics, culture and media.
