For his part, playwright and member of the organizing committee of the “Jasad” Festival, Issam Al-Yousifi, confirmed that the second session of the festival promises a rich and diverse program divided between performances, meetings, and master classes, noting that the “Jasad” Festival aims to be a space for exchanging women’s experiences.
Al-Yousifi highlighted that this year’s edition also represents a challenge, adventure and responsibility, as well as an increasing desire to create a permanent place for this artistic demonstration within the national and international artistic scene, highlighting that this desire allows this artistic event to become a recognized space for dialogue with female artists who have chosen theater as a form of art. The opening day of the demonstration was marked by honoring one of the prominent female theatrical figures in the world of theater in Morocco, actress Hasnaa Al-Tamtawi, in recognition of her firm commitment to the benefit of the theatrical radiance in the Kingdom, and her rich artistic career in this field. In addition to presenting the theatrical performance “The Last Time,” directed by Tunisian director Wafaa Taboubi.
This session will include the participation of nine theatrical performances representing nine different countries (Morocco, Italy, Cameroon, Greece, France, Tunisia, Spain, Egypt, and Germany), which will present to the public over five days an exceptional artistic and cultural diversity with a feminine soul.
This edition includes a rich program, which includes, in addition to theatrical performances, the presentation of a master class, and two women’s meetings, the first of which will be dedicated to women directors, and the second to women scenographers, in order to explore the various artistic and creative aspects of theatrical professions with a female vision.

The performances are held in a number of well-known spaces in Rabat, namely the Mohammed V National Theater, the Bahnini Hall, in addition to the Aquarium Theater in the Akkari neighborhood, and also the Gérard Philippe Hall of the French Institute in Rabat.
