What the Sumerians said about the first man or the primitive people who preceded the Sumerians by a long time and are considered among the first human beings on Earth.
The text according to the Sumerians’ view of the first man:
“They did not know how to eat bread.
They did not know how to cover their bodies with clothing, as they would go and return completely naked
They ate grass, as sheep do
And they drink from stagnant spring water.”
