• “Io” is one of the four moons of Jupiter and is in fourth place in terms of size, but its density is the highest of all the moons. It is also the body that contains the least amount of water of any astronomical body in the solar system.
• There are more than 400 active volcanoes on the moon “Io”, so it is one of the most active astronomical bodies in the solar system.
• Io's surface is dotted with volcanic depressions that are usually flat-bottomed and surrounded by walls. The volcano called Loki is also the most violent volcano on Io, contributing about 25% of the heat produced externally by Io. These areas are usually areas of volcanic eruptions, whether by lava flows or in the form of a lava lake
• There are 100 to 150 mountains on Io with an average height of 6 km, and the height of the highest mountain is approximately 17.5 km.
