Kick-off of the Amazigh Heritage Festival in Tunisia
The activities of the Tunisian Amazigh Heritage Festival started today, under the slogan: The Amazigh heritage in us, which will continue during the days 06 07 08 of May 2022. The opening date will start at 2:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Regional Union of Industry and Commerce in the historic city of Sousse.
It is planned to organize an intellectual symposium on Amazigh history, civilization and culture in Tunisia, with all its aspects and details of life and a presence that represents them in the details of contemporary daily life.
This course will include a number of interventions, lectures and discussions by doctors and research professors in history, civilization and anthropology from all the countries of North Africa Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania, Iman Kasi Moussa d Algeria, Mohamed Mahmoud Tolba from Mauritania, Rashid Rakha from Morocco, Madghis Oumadi and Wael Fattis from Libya, Fathi Al-Haqi, Attaché from Tunisia, Sahar Arenas from Tunisia and Mourad Mhenni from Tunisia.
Amazigh activists in Tunisia are calling for the inclusion of the Amazigh language in educational curricula in Tunisia so that it is transmitted from generation to generation as the country's native language.
