Amazigh champion Nada Laarj wins a medal in the Open Taekwondo League in Sweden
Amazigh champion Nada Laraj, daughter of Professor Moussa Laraj, won the bronze medal at the Open Taekwondo League in Sweden, in the under-62 weight category, after significantly outclassing her competitors.
Champion Nada Laraj won the bronze medal after defeating Finland's Maninen Jasmine in the first round by 14 points to 5, then defeating Belgium's Sarah Sheari (10-8) in the second round.
The young woman, Nada Laarj, hails from the city of Nador in northern Morocco, and she previously won the Open Taekwondo League silver medal in Spain on April 1.
This major global achievement is her second, and she has a string of national and international appearances that have yielded respectable results, and a series of taekwondo competitions in a number of countries await her this year.
