Taza...the Amazigh calendar between the roots of the weather and the horizon of celebration
The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - Culture Sector, the Regional Directorate of the Fez-Meknes region, and the Regional Directorate of Taza, together with the Ouri Association for Environment, Rural Development, Culture and Art in Taza, organized an intellectual symposium on the topic: The Amazigh calendar between the roots of the weather and the horizon of celebration, on the occasion of the Amazigh year 2974, and that was on Friday. January 12, 2024, in the performance hall of the Institute of Music and Choreographic Arts in Taza.
The symposium witnessed the participation of Professors Hassan Hayzoun, Ibrahim Fukik, Hassan Ahjej, and Maimoun Obaid. The session was moderated by Professor Hassan Aghzaz, while Professor Hayat Ben Yassin was the rapporteur of this scientific session, which addressed the historical, social, and cultural aspects of the occasion of January.
This cultural event was attended by a group of specialists and those interested in Moroccan history and Amazigh affairs.
