A rare and distinctive archaeological mosaic panel dating back to the Roman era was found in the city of Rastan, Homs Governorate, central Syria, adding a new archaeological discovery along with other discoveries of many Syrian archaeological mosaic panels.
Today, Tuesday, the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums announced the discovered archaeological painting dating back to the Roman era, and it is in good condition, describing the painting as rare and unparalleled in the world, according to what was reported by SANA.
The Directorate of Antiquities and Museums did not provide any additional details so far about how the painting was found and other information related to the archaeological plate.
