On Tuesday, January 27th, the curtain fell in Ifrane of the Small Atlas on the activities of the third session of the “Tamont Forum for Creativity and Amazigh Literature” organized by the Tamont Association of Ifrane of the Small Atlas in partnership with the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture and with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Culture Sector and in coordination with the Regional Directorate of Culture Guelmim Wade Noun and the Regional Directorate of Education in Belmim and several associations, which lasted for three days 25/26/27 with the aim of revitalizing the cultural and artistic movement in the region.
According to the director of the forum, Al-Kbous Al-Mahfouz, he confirmed that the activities of the forum seek to establish a sustainable cultural activity in the Ifrane region of the Lesser Atlas, adding that the various activities and wide participation contribute to introducing the great qualifications of the oasis and the picturesque landscapes in it, as well as the cultural, architectural and civilizational heritage that characterizes it. This is in order to promote its qualifications in order to make it a national and international tourist destination.

The activities of the opening day of the forum included an opening session that included the speech of the organizing committee and the speech of the partners, in which the president of the association gave a brief overview of the forum. An important exhibition of the Amazigh book was also organized, which opened through visitors to the most important new publications written in the Amazigh language, especially the publications of the Tira Association and the Royal Institute of Culture. On the morning of the opening day, a training course was organized to master the Tifinagh script for the benefit of the students, under the supervision of the specialized professor, Hassan Bahamo.
While in the evening, the audience was with the regional symposium, the first of its kind in the region, on “Amazigh literary achievement and the problem of reading and criticism,” with the participation of writer and researcher Hassan Zuhur, research critic Ahmed Bouzid, and novelist Saleh Ait Saleh Saleh, while the conduct of the symposium was returned to professor and researcher Hassan Tikbdar.

The activities of the second day were organized by the organization of two training workshops at the Youth House Ifrane Al-Atlas Al-Saghir, the first on “Techniques for Writing Short Stories in Amazigh” under the supervision of Professor Hassan Aziz, and the second on “Smart Reading Skills” under the supervision of Professor Ayoub Zine El Abidine. While in the evening period, the audience was on a date with the poetry evening in the guest house Takmi Al-Hana with the participation of the most prominent poets of the region in the association’s belief in the importance of its contribution to the definition of the balanced Amazigh poetic flags, and made room for it to reveal, recite, cross-pollinate and exchange experiences in the vast world of Amazigh poetry, which is considered one of the richest elements Amazigh literature is the most prolific and most closely related to the reality of life and society.
Regarding the third day, the final of the local Olympiad of Tifinagh was organized with the participation of 27 students from six institutions at the level of the Ifrane Basin, where the student Rokaya Al-Idrisi was crowned with the first rank for the Jama’iyyah school and the student Fatima Al-Zahraa, Al-Mazoudi with the second rank for the Ibn Tufail School, while the third returned to the student Asoufi Fazema. After that, the students were on a date with educational workshops, the song and the story, supervised by the teachers of the Amazigh language.
