The Amzian Association commemorates the 102nd anniversary of the glorious Battle of Anwal
In commemoration of the 102nd anniversary of the glorious Battle of Anwal, the Amzian Association, in coordination with the AMOSIG Center for Translation from and to the Amazigh Language, is organizing a ceremony for signing and presenting the historical novel (ADKIR). Mourad Al-Mutawakel, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in the Cultural Complex Library Hall in Nador, at 6:00 pm.
The historical novel (ADKIR) is the Amazigh translation of the Spanish novel “Iman” (iman) by its writer, “Ramon José Sander”, which was published in 1930. The works of this writer are among the most translated from Spanish into foreign languages after the writer “Cervantes”, and thanks to this The version is by the rural translator Murad al-Mutawakkil, who took it upon himself to transfer the secrets of this novel to his mother tongue, especially since this novel is closely related to historical events in the countryside, as the original author “Ramon José Sander” was one of the Spanish soldiers in the countryside, and his novel was a criticism of the Spanish war On the countryside, and a document that chronicles a group of events, especially the eternal Battle of Annual 1921.
From this standpoint, and to bring the Spanish novel closer to the Amazigh reader and to enrich the Amazigh library, the translator Murad Al-Mutawakkil underwent this unique experience, starting from the Spanish source and reaching the Amazigh estuary.
