Yesterday, Monday, August 14, 2023, the curtain fell on the results of the first edition of the Souss-Massa Award for Journalism and Agriculture, which was organized by the Chamber of Agriculture of the Souss-Massa region, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing, Rural Development, Water and Forests, and in cooperation with the office of the regional branch of the National Syndicate of Press. Agadir, on the sidelines of the activities of the International Exhibition of Local Products in its ninth session, which will be held in Al-Amal Square in Agadir, from 10 to 15 August.

This award, which targets audiovisual, written and electronic means of communication, and the press image, crowned the best articles, reportages, television and radio programmes, and images. For the period from June 2022 to June 2023, with a prize for each category, audiovisual, written and electronic journalism, and photojournalism.
The participating files were studied by a multidisciplinary jury composed of professionals and personalities with experience in the field of media and communication and academics in the world of agriculture.
